Léon Bureau is an artist born in 1866 in Limoges, who died in 1906. He studied at the École-des-Beaux-Arts in Paris and also studied at the workshop of Alexandre Falguière. From 1884 he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français. He mainly created animal sculptures, species groups and busts.
