Description

A domestic postal money order (Pārvedums pa pastu) for the sum of 10 Lats, sent on February 11, 1935, from Matere to Daugavpils. The payee is A. Fabricijus, addressed to the 12th Bauska Infantry Regiment (12. B. Kājnieku pul[ks]), Instructor Company, 2nd Platoon in Daugavpils. The front bears a 20 santimi stamp and crisp Matere dispatch datestamps dated February 11, 1935. The reverse features a receipt form (Kvīte) with the payee's handwritten signature and a red date stamp for February 16, 1935. The back also includes postmarks from Matere (February 11) and Daugavpils (arrival on February 12 and payout on February 16, 1935).
