Description
Franz Bahner established his firm in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1895,
specializing in Art Nouveau flatware production. After his death in
1913, the company became a shareholding entity and was acquired by
Mansfelder Gewerkschaft in 1917, changing its hallmark. Mansfelder
Gewerkschaft, which marked its products with crossed hammers and "MS,"
was dissolved in 1962.
