Description
A domestic postal money order (Pasta pārvedums) for the sum of 20 Lats, sent on November 7, 1936, from Riga to Višķi (Latgale region). The sender is K. Putāns and the payee is Boleslavs Putāns (likely a family financial transfer). The form is franked with a 20 santīmi commemorative stamp dedicated to the events of May 15, 1934 (Kārlis Ulmanis's coup). The front bears crisp Riga dispatch datestamps. The reverse features the completed receipt (Kvīts) with the payee's handwritten signature and two postmarks from the Višķi post office: an arrival stamp (November 9) and a final payout stamp (November 12, 1936).
