Description
1907 cross-shaped postal wrapper (2-kopeck imprinted stamp) for printed matter (Drucksache) sent from Riga. The sender's blue oval cachet reads "R. HÄUSERMANN / RIGA". Addressed to Architect Ed. Häusermann-Cornelius, the item was originally routed to the resort town of Bad Nauheim (Germany). It was subsequently redirected with a blue crayon to Zurich, Switzerland, for General Delivery (Hauptpostlagernd). The front bears Riga dispatch postmarks dated May 7, 1907. The reverse features a crisp Swiss arrival datestamp "ZÜRICH 1 / POSTE REST." dated May 23, 1907.
