Description

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duetto features a reversible case, allowing the wearer to switch between two dials: one designed for daytime use and the other for evening wear. The case is made of 18-carat yellow gold and is adorned with diamonds. The bracelet is also crafted from gold and set with diamonds. The watch is powered by a mechanical hand-wound movement, while the sapphire crystal protects the dial from damage.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre company was founded in 1833 in the Swiss Vallée de Joux by watchmaker and inventor Antoine LeCoultre. In 1844, he created the world’s first instrument capable of measuring micrometric distances – the Millionomètre, significantly improving the precision of watch movement production.

By 1866, the company became one of the first Swiss manufacturers to unite all stages of watch production under one roof, from movement design to final assembly. In the early 20th century, the company began collaborating with French watchmaker Edmond Jaeger, leading to the establishment of the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand in 1937.

Jaeger-LeCoultre is renowned for its innovations, including the development of ultra-thin movements, complex calibers with tourbillons, perpetual calendars, and minute repeaters. In 1929, the company created the world’s smallest mechanical movement, the Calibre 101, which is still used in jewelry watches today. Additionally, Jaeger-LeCoultre supplied movements to many prestigious brands, including Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Constantin.

Today, Jaeger-LeCoultre remains one of the leading Swiss watch manufacturers, continuing to produce both classic and highly complex timepieces.
