François Marie Isidore Queverdo (1748-1797), was born in Brittany, a student of the famous Eisen, who created many engraved portraits and a large number of decorative drawings under the Old regime and revolution.

By 1766 a series of master’s medallions with pastorals belongs. Later, he collaborates in decorating SaintNon's book “Voyage a Naples”, draws illustrations for Florian (17821793), for Dauphin “La dernière Hélo? Se” (1784), for “Henryad” - (1787-1788). At one time, his specialty was to illustrate small almanacs that served as notebooks (L'Bge heureux des plaisirs, 1787, Les étrennes galantes, 1788, La journée d'une jolie femme, 1790). He also owns the emblematic decorations in the Calendrier de la République and illustrations in several children's books. In 1795, we meet François among candidates for government support.
