Description

The Chopard La Strada model is inspired by Italian cinema and the aesthetics of the 1950s. The name of the collection refers to Federico Fellini’s film "La Strada", symbolizing elegance and fluid shapes.

The watch features an 18-carat gold case with soft curves. Both the case and the dial are adorned with diamonds and rubies, creating a refined jewelry look. The dial is made of mother-of-pearl and decorated with Arabic numerals, ensuring a classic and easily readable display. The watch operates on a quartz movement, providing high timekeeping accuracy.

The Chopard company was founded in 1860 by Swiss watchmaker Louis-Ulysse Chopard. Initially, the brand specialized in the production of precision pocket watches and chronometers. By the early 20th century, Chopard had become a supplier of accurate timepieces for railway companies and military institutions.

In 1963, the company was acquired by German jeweler Karl Scheufele III, who expanded the brand’s offerings by introducing fine jewelry elements. This led to the creation of iconic collections such as Happy Diamonds, where diamonds move freely under the glass.

Today, Chopard remains one of the leading manufacturers of luxury watches and jewelry, combining traditional Swiss craftsmanship with exquisite design.
