Description
Polish painter. Born in Lviv. From 1958 to 1861 lived in Krakow. Studied at the Vienna Academy of Arts. From 1880 often traveled to Munich, since he opened his own workshop there. In the last years of his life he finally settled in Munich. Traveled a lot in search of topics for his work. Painted landscapes, scenes with horses, hunting, historical events and genre paintings from the life of Hutsuls. Engaged in lithography. Presented his works at exhibitions in Krakow, Lviv, Warsaw, Vienna and Munich. The paintings are in the collections of the museums of Warsaw, Poznan, St. Petersburg and Lviv.
